Acidity

An Acidic Environment in the Body

pH means “potential Hydrogen”. It is measured from 1 to 14, 1 to 6.9 being acidic, 7.0 neutral and 7.1 to 14 alkaline. I’m not going to make a whole dissertation about it; suffice it to say that in order for cancer cells to get rid of lactic acid, they need an acidic medium. If the medium is alkaline, they can’t get rid of it and because of that they have no room in the cell to take in more glucose for the generation of new energy, so they starve to death.

It is a fact that cancer thrives in an acidic body; why is that? As explained before, cancer’s anaerobic respiration creates lactic acid as a by-product of its metabolism, and same as healthy cells have to get rid of carbon dioxide (CO2) as a by-product of aerobic respiration, cancer cells have to get rid of lactic acid -the by-product of anaerobic respiration- in order to be able to continue generating energy or they die or at least can’t grow or proliferate. Most cancer patients have a pH between 5.0 and 6.0.

A slightly acidic pH in a healthy body is not terrible and we can very well live a healthy life till 120 years like that. It is just that an alkaline medium is murder for cancer cells, and my goal when I fight a powerful enemy like cancer, is to make its life as miserable as possible using every tool or weapon I can find.
